Probiotics are live microorganisms that are intended to have health benefits when consumed or applied to the body. They can be found in yogurt and other fermented foods, dietary supplements, and beauty products. Similarly to probiotics, our products use the power of live bacteria that interact with your microbiome to improve your health. However, because our products target specific health conditions, eg constipation, bloating and coughs and colds, we prefer to call our products live biotherapeutic products (LBP). By using live microorganisms for health benefits all LBPs can be considered probiotics, but not all probiotics can be considered LBPs.
